I can't see the "User follows your account" trigger when setting up an automation. I've followed the steps the AI chatbot gave, but I still don't have the trigger.

Hi everyone I’m trying to connect my WhatsApp Channel in Manychat.I go through the setup, but when I reach the final step I get this error message:“Something went wrong. Please try again or contact support.”I attached a screenshot of the error screen.A few details: I’m currently on the Free plan, so I don’t have access to direct support (only the AI bot, which didn’t solve it). I’m following the standard WhatsApp setup wizard from Manychat. The error appears right after I try to connect the number. Has anyone faced this issue before or knows what could be causing it?Any help or workaround would be really appreciated  Thank you!

I have tried incognito, cleared cookies, and refreshed permissions and still doesn’t work, Manychat support is impossible to contact as well.

My automation for new followers isn't working. I've done everything according to the steps. Everything is linked together in Meta Business, but unfortunately the automation still doesn't work. Is there anyone who can help me with this?

Hi, for the past week and a half, the automation for Auto-DM Links From Comments for Instagram has not been working properly in two ways. One is that the automatic comment replier is only trigger about 1 in 20 times, leaving a bunch of unanswered comments. Two, it does not seem like the DM is actually sent to the majority of the people (70-80%) because when I click on that message sequence all I see is “You messages user about a comment they made on your post. See Post” but there is no actual message there. I have tried to resolve this issue by changing up by auto-replies messages and the first message in the DM sequence but neither solution has helped with these problems. Please help if you have experience this issue before.

I have a problem connecting my Manychat account to my Instagram. Previously, my Instagram account was already connected to another Manychat account, but I wanted to switch it to a new Manychat account created with a different email address. However, I received this message: 'Musique Media FR already connected to Musique Media FR. Switch Instagram to continue with another account or request access from the owner of Musique Media FR.'

I have been using Manychat for over a year. But last month I had to delete the facebook account attached to my IG and connect it to a different facebook because of some problems I had with Meta business suite. However, now that that is done I can no longer access the manychat account for that old facebook page to fix my billing (I pay for multiple accounts) and reconnect my IG accounts to my manychat.  There is literally no way for me to fix this without someone from the manychat team helping me out because the old FB login I used to connect doesn’t exist anymore.  I love the product and I’ve spent over $500 over the past year using Manychat, someone please help me out here 

Hi, My automations are not working 90% of the time and the contacts who do not get the comment replies are marked as “Deleted conversation”. I have raised tickets and reached out to support but nothing has worked. I have followed all the necessary steps since this glitch started 2 days ago.

Hi ManyChat team,I’m on the Essential (paid) plan (not Free). My Billing shows 557/250 active contacts, so I’m getting the “You’ve hit the limit” message. Problem: I can’t reduce the active contact count because Contacts and Live Chat are empty on my side (nothing to delete), but Billing still counts 557 active contacts.As a result, all Instagram automations stopped sending (Comment-to-DM, Auto DM/auto replies, welcome messages — nothing sends). What I tried:  Disconnected and reconnected Instagram Refresh Instagram permissions (success) Checked Display settings (not “subscribed-only”) Tested with another Instagram account (still not sending)  Request:Could you please

We have an click on add activated in meta on instagram and Facebook. Separate click on add flow. But the add on instagram is not working correctly. The chat button when they click the automation don’t start. With Facebook it’s working. Thank you.  

Every time I click new follower message to enter my information To create a new follower messageit says I need to go to Instagram to activate something and it takes me to the settings page and I’m not sure what I’m supposed to be activating because it doesn’t take me directly to the right setting, I guess

About a whatsapp automation. When it's the other way around, it's easy with an external request and a webhook, but in this case, I can't find any useful trigger in ManyChat.How can I make n8n trigger an automation for whatsapp messaging?

Hey! I would love to start a "say hi to new followers" Automation in Manychat Sadly I get the "unknown error" text on my Mobile Phone Manychat App, aswell as when I try it on the desktop Website with "couldn't create Automation"  I have the free plan and would just love to use this simple Automation before paying  I re-connected my Instagram with my Facebook Business Account and it should be perfectly fine, but sadly its not working since days.… Thank you! 

Why does my automation with reactions on my reel not work? the box is also light coloured? 

I only have my Instagram account connected to ManyChat. My Facebook Page is linked to Instagram on Meta, so my IG posts are automatically cross-posted to Facebook.If someone comments on the Facebook version of a video that was originally posted on Instagram, will that comment trigger my Instagram comment automation in ManyChat, or does the automation only work for comments made directly on Instagram?I want to confirm if linking FB to IG (but not to ManyChat) is enough, or if Facebook comments are ignored entirely.Thanks.

Hello, I’m new to Manychat and I have been dealing with a problem for a long time. The setup of the meta business account isn’t letting me use Manychat professionally, without limitations. How do I set up meta and Manychat professionally to deliver automations to others?? What do I need to do to set up everything?

Meta are moving to a new version of recurring noticications, starting in Jan 2026, called ‘Marketing Messages’. For all pages established prior to September, you can continue to use the recurrent noticiation functionaility as normal for the time being, but for new accounts you cannot. On my new facebook page/manychat subscription, i can still send the recurring noticiation opt in request, and people can opt in as they could before, i just cannot send recurring noticiation messages.  Does anyone know whether the new ‘marketing messages’ will use the same opt ins as the current recurring noticiations use? or will it be a seperate integration all together? I dont know whether i should continue to get opt ins from users so i can contact them in January if the integration is similar… or if its not worth doing this if the opt in process/api will be different/not transferrable. If anyone, or manychat, have some clarity on this it would be greatly a
