When im doing auto reply's on comments, how can i mention the user who made the comment? The cuffs to choose the user are not there in the random comment answer selection.Im talking about the Instagram Comment Reply under my post and not about the message you are sending to the commenter.

ManyChat API Inconsistency: Contact Exists but Not Found

Hello ManyChat Community!I'm encountering a peculiar issue with the ManyChat API and I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced this or has any ideas on how to resolve it.Scenario:When trying to create a new contact via API, I receive the error: 'This WhatsApp ID already exists: 5554999999999' However, when using the API Swagger to search for this contact (using the /fb/subscriber/findBySystemField endpoint), I receive: { "status": "success", "data": []}   This creates an impossible loop: I can't create the contact because it already exists, but I can't update it because the API says it doesn't exist!Additional details:The contact was originally imported into ManyChat. I've tried searching using both email and phone number, with the same result. I've checked the API token permissions, and they appear to be correct.Questions:Has anyone faced a similar issue? Is there any known difference in how imported contacts are handled versus natively created ones? Is there an alternative metho

How to get IG Ref URL to open the IG App Automatically?

Hi, I’m trying to set up an IG Ref URL so that when a user clicks it (from an email, website etc), it automatically opens the IG app and the message is sent. I’ve got conversation starters all set up. How do I do this?

Instagram Outgoing messages no longer arrive via webhook

Hello everyone, I noticed that this is a very recent problem.Since yesterday, the messages I send via the Instagram app haven't been received via webhook, so they don't appear in Manychat. On manychat i can only see the messages I send via Manychat. Is this problem specific to me? Does everyone else have this problem? Edit: Everything fine with inbound messages, the issue specific for outbound messages.

PLEASE HELP - AI Step does not save system fields or custom fields.

We have an AI Step configuration that requests data to schedule an appointment. This data is then sent to Zapier. It was working fine until around July 6, 2025. After that, it no longer saves the data provided by the user—only one field at the end of the conversation is saved, and it's saved incorrectly. We haven't made any changes to the flow in months, so we know we didn’t cause the issue. Why was it working without problems and now it’s not? What changed? Automation Issue - 2nd button opening threads??

Hi all - I created an automation that is having an issue. The second button sent [after someone clicks the ‘Send me the link’ button] opens Threads and prompts to download Threads instead of the link I plugged in to a landing page. Is this happening anyone else? How do I fix this??

Trigger "Adding Tag" is not working for automation

I went to the contact that I wanted to trigger the automation for and added the tag (the automation is public and the trigger is set to “on”) but the Instagram DM which is the next step in the automation after tag is added is not sending. Any advice?

Pricing Questions

Hello Guys,  I would like to know how the pricing works and if its possible to reduce the cost or monthly payments. I'm currently using Manychat just for the automatization by key words, and in the type of job that I have we just talk to a contact once and then we don't necessarily need to have any type of interaction with that contact again. So it doesn't make any sense to me to be accumulating contacts or paying for then after months. It's there any option to me? or I just have to accept that this platform doesn't adjust to my necessities? I felt in love with Manychat so I hope you can help me to find a way to use it properly for my business without overpaying just for contacts.

Hello everyone.I’ve been using ManyChat over a year now and have several accounts on pro with AI supported. My messages on social media channels don’t show up even though there was a conversation. I am checking through my account’s dm’s and there are messages, but most of them are missing on ManyChat. When I check the ‘ https://status.manychat.com/ ‘ everything seems fine but its not. I would like to receive more according to what I’ve been paying for. Regards.

Buttons not working in Instagram message from desktop

Hi,Just built a bot for instagram. Works perfectly fine on mobile, but on desktop, the buttons just refresh the page instead of going to next action. Any clue?

Manychat Sequences Double Firing

Hi! I am setting up a sequence however due to it requiring me to create a “flow” for every message I am having troubles on what trigger to choose. I can’t choose “subscribed to sequence” because this causes a double firing in messages. Anyone know how I go about this?

Como alterar a imagem/avatar de cada conta no painel principal?

Fala pessoal, alguém pode me ajudar com a personalização da minha visualização de contas (a imagem dos avatares).Eu gerencio várias contas no Manychat, como pode ser visto na imagem. Atualmente, a maioria delas exibe um ícone de avatar genérico, o que torna a identificação rápida de cada conta bastante difícil e confusa no dia a dia.Eu entendo que a imagem da conta deveria ser sincronizada automaticamente a partir da Página do Facebook ou do Perfil do Instagram associado. No entanto, mesmo com as contas devidamente conectadas, as imagens de perfil das minhas páginas não estão sendo puxadas para o painel do Manychat. Apenas uma das minhas contas exibe o ícone correto do Facebook.Gostaria de saber se existe alguma maneira de forçar essa sincronização ou de definir manualmente uma imagem/avatar para cada uma das contas na minha lista. Isso melhoraria muito a minha eficiência ao navegar entre os diferentes bots.Agradeço quem puder responder.

Data collector block not working properly?

Hello!I have the following case:I set up a block that collects data from WhatsApp, I place invalid responses, and I test it. First, it responds correctly with the response configured for invalid responses. Then, when the maximum number of attempts is reached, the flow skips without showing the "skip" button. It simply continues as if the user had responded correctly.Do you have any idea what could be happening? Could it be a mistake on my part, or is this part not working properly?

URL tracking params pass through

Hi everyone, i am new to Manychat and i am trying to set up tracking so that whatever we set in facebook ads will pass through to the messenger and then to our landers. More specifically, if we have utm_campaign = {{campaign.name}} and ID=123456 set in the ads manager, how do we make sure these persist all the way to our landers?Thank you so much for your help in advance.

How Can I End My Trial Early and Activate the Paid Pro Plan Right Away?

Hi everyone,I’m on the 14‑day Trial in my current workspace, but I’ve already entered my payment details and need full Pro features (especially the Broadcasting tab) immediately. Right now the sidebar still shows “TRIAL”, and Broadcasting isn’t available. The Billing page displays my card on file with a charge scheduled for the day the trial ends.Is there a way to skip/terminate the trial period and switch to the paid Pro subscription now, or must I wait until the trial expires automatically? If the only option is to contact Support, what’s the quickest path (info to provide, form link, etc.) to get them to flip the workspace from Trial to Pro?Thanks in advance for any tips!

Facebook connection confusion

When I try to connect our FB account to MC it says it is already connected but it isn’t. When I go to FB in settings, it tells me to connect to an account but then it shows that the account is connected and I can’t do anything. I did notice that we seem to have a FREE and PRO account with MC - is that normal? The FREE account is connected to FB. So is that why I can’t connect the PRO account? How do I resolve this?

Hi, I have a question about teams in manychat.

I'm new to ManyChat and I'd really like it if you could help me please. My question is focused on the following: I'm a lawyer who wants the AI to automatically respond to messages to filter clients' basic questions. However, I also have an assistant, and the idea is for her to be able to use ManyChat. I'm going to pay for the Pro + AI. Should I also pay for her as a user, or is she already on my team because she's in my account? Thanks.

How To Add Memory to ChatGPT Action
