I have encountered a critical issue with WhatsApp automation that is affecting my business.Issue Summary:When creating a WhatsApp automation, any automation step that contains text with a button is being prefixed with a newline on the client’s mobile device. If the text does not contain a button, no newline is added.Steps to Reproduce:Create a WhatsApp automation in ManyChat. Add a step that contains text along with a button. Test the automation on a mobile device. Observe that the received message is prefixed with a newline. Remove the button from the text and test again—no newline appears.Expected Behavior:The text should appear exactly as written in the automation setup, without any additional newlines.Actual Behavior:Any text that includes a button is automatically prefixed with a newline on the client’

If I have “user sends a message” set up, will that also work as a story reply? It seems to be when I test, I guess I’m just confused as to why you would use story replies then as the “parameters” are much more open (leaving room for error).

I have a Manychat workflow where I need to ask for their name and email before I send them a freebie and then I use Zapier to send those fields to Kajabi before an email automation triggers. However, I get tons of errors from Zapier saying fields are missing. Is there a way we can make name and email in Manychat required?

Hello we have a problem that is going to get worse and worse in the coming days.From our appointment scheduling system, we have a flow that we report in a custom field in Manychat of type date time the date and time of the appointment, and we send several messages to our patients about their appointment reporting the date and time.Our account time zone is:Everything was working fine, until today we started scheduling appointments for April 1 and later (the daylight saving time changeover date in 2025 is March 30). The problem is that our system reports via API the time in GMT, and Manychat is not updating correctly that April 1, 2025 is GMT+2 in Europe/Madrid.I understand this is a problem with the Manychat platform, how can we fix it?

Hi! I’m new to ManyChat and struggling with my first automation. I want to respond to users’ comments with a DM. For instance, if users comment “BOOKPREORDER” I will send them a Comment Reply with a button linking to preorder my book.  But I also want these users – who comment BOOKPREORDER – to have the option to sign up for my newsletter. Is it possible to send a second message AFTER my initial Comment Reply that has a new link?  For some reason it seems like Comment Replies can only lead to an action, not to a second message!  Would appreciate any help and insight. Thank you!  

Well, I'm using Manychat Pro for Instagram for a while now. Two days ago my connection was interrupted, so I re-linked my Facebook page. Since then, Manychat has been scanning all messages from automations twice. When someone comments, the first message appears, e.g. with a button. After drinking this taste, I try all the second ones. It doesn't matter if the automation is old or a new one is created. I find this quite inconvenient for my customers... I've already reconnected the Instagram account several times and it can't be fixed.Does anyone have any ideas?Thanks for the help!Best regardsJessie

I have built an AI to reply to Instagram direct messages using Manychat.Everything was working fine until today, when all of a sudden, the AI in Manychat stopped responding. Even the Preview mode doesn’t work.I currently have the Pro plan and the Manychat AI add-on active on my account.What do you think could be causing this issue?Has anyone else experienced a similar problem before? 

I’m not sure what’s going on but my comment triggers on instagram aren’t working. The link is sent to their DMs, but when they click it it says “there was a problem loading this website”. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Everyday Ai step stops working for 3 to 5 hours!No clear reason why does it stop, the only thing that I can guess is a lag in the system. Specially in the time of 9pm to 12pm GMT. Anyone else have the same problem?

Greetings, community!We use Pro account with 3 seats in Live Chat. The default Automation pause during Conversations (APDC) in live-chat is 30 minutes. We have configured APDC for 10 hours, but the timer fails constantly. When I reply (as the ManyChat account owner),  the automations pause for 10 hours as they should. But when two other live-chat agents reply, the automations pause for the default 30 minutes, no matter what's the APDC configuration. Is it possible that every live chat agent needs to configure APDC for himself manually? Or is there maybe some overruling, that triggers a default 30-minute APDC instead of configured 10-hour APDC?

When I add the {first_name}, {{first_name}}, manually or by clicking the {} button, the name does not appear. Please advise.Thank you :)

I’m struggling with the setup of an automationI want to have different tags for people that engage with my profile For example: When I get any new dm → tag ‘new dm’ When I get a new comment → tag ‘new comment’ It works for comments, but not for all dm’s. I can only select keywords. But I want to make sure ALL dm’s get a tag. Not just a few keywordsDoes anyone know a work around for this? For story replies I can select ‘any reply’ but for general dm’s it doensn’t see to work. Thanks in advance! 

I am trying to broadcast automations, but the messages are not sending. When I broadcast a message template it sends fine, it is only the automations.They come up in my history, but say sent 0 times. In the beginning of the automation, I change a user field, looking at live chat I can see this was changed, but the first message has not sent.

I can see in my Manychat dashboard that TikTok is now available - but sadly I cannot connect as it’s not available in the UK yet - and also apparently not the US either.So which countries is it available and when will it be opened up to the UK?Anyone know? 

Since ManyChat charges based on the number of contacts, my client is wondering why they should choose it over Interakt and Wati, which charge a flat fee with unlimited agents.Through paid advertising, they are generating a large number of leads and are afraid of switching ManyChat plans. Has anyone ever faced such a question from a client? If you were asked such a question regarding billing, what was your response?

Hey I am onboarding a new setter and it says that he is in as a live agent but he cant send any chats. And when i go to assign the chats to him i cant but i cant in the auto assign section on the settings page. this is really weird, what should i do? 

Hi, i haven’t used the manychat since 2018! By this time i saw that a lot things have changed. But my main question is: Can i send sale massage to all my followers? Like in the Whatsapp Business API that i pay for every message delivied. I never used the DMs to do nothing, so all my followers are with de 24 hours window closed.

I downgraded my subscription to the free version but they were still trying to charge me. i logged in only to see the subscription amount increased from $15 to $29, i need this subscription canceled!!!
