I can see that in the Manychat live chat it is able to see the full DM conversations on my IG account which includes the reels that another user directly shared to me.  However, i cant figure out how to trigger an automation when this happens, it only works if someone sends a message with text to my IG account but it doesn’t trigger if they share a reel.  Is this feature possible with Manychat?

Hello,I am pretty new and have around 3500 contacts now and it's only connected to my Instagram….but a lot of them are subscribed ‘unknown contacts’. What is the difference with known contacts? Is that spam? I am wondering also how a contact can be ‘unknown’ as the only way to get onto my Manychat contact list is through commenting on my reels or my stories.Hopefully someone can help me with shedding some light on this 🙏 Thank you so much in advance, Kate

Hello ManyChat Community, I’m on the FREE plan and trying to build an Instagram automation. When I create a new flow and add a “Send Message” step, I see the message:“👇 Tap some step to edit”However, clicking the step does not open the sidebar, so I am unable to edit the message or set up Collect Reply / User Fields.I have already tried the following:- Creating a new automation from scratch- Refreshing the browser- Using Chrome- Clearing cacheDespite this, the issue persists. Has anyone experienced this before? Are there any workarounds or solutions for free plan users? Thank you for your help!

Hi everyone,I’m facing an issue connecting my Instagram account to ManyChat and I’m hoping someone here has dealt with this before.My Instagram was previously connected to a ManyChat workspace (codewith-imraan). Now the Instagram channel is no longer visible inside that ManyChat account, so I can’t manually remove or disconnect it.However, when I try to connect the same Instagram account to a new ManyChat account, it shows errors like: Already connected Request sent Instagram channel not active I have already removed ManyChat from Instagram → Apps & Websites settings.It looks like the Instagram account is still locked to the old workspace on the backend.Has anyone experienced this?How did you get it released or unlinked?I’ve already submitted a support ticket, but I wanted to check if there’s anything else I can try in the meantime.

I am using a template provided by Manychat to respond to comments and send private messages.It works for the first two and then stops working. I have tried to respond manually to comments on Instagram Reels and an error occurs.I have tried with permissions, the professional account, and the main methods they recommend, but none of them work.   I tried duplicating it and creating a new one. It works at first, but after the third or fourth comment, it stops working.Does anyone know how I can fix this error? Thanks a lot, my reel is published for two days i need urgent help! 

I’ve logged into my new account, but I’m facing a persistent issue. I’ve tried connecting my accounts multiple times—honestly, it feels like a hundred tries by now—but each time, the process just completes and then everything disappears. I’m unable to log in properly or access anything within the app.I’m not sure what’s going wrong here, but it’s blocking me from moving forward. Acho que devo ter feito algo errado, pois agora, sempre que clico na minha conta para adicioná-la ao Manychat, aparece a seguinte mensagem: "Sua solicitação foi enviada. Peça ao proprietário da conta do Manychat com esta página para aprovar sua solicitação".O problema é que não aparece nenhum campo para aprovação no ManyChat. Já criei, excluí e criei uma conta no ManyChat novamente, mas o problema persiste. Não tenho problemas com a página do Facebook, apenas com o Instagram.Por favor, ajude

Hi everyone,I’m on the 14‑day Trial in my current workspace, but I’ve already entered my payment details and need full Pro features (especially the Broadcasting tab) immediately. Right now the sidebar still shows “TRIAL”, and Broadcasting isn’t available. The Billing page displays my card on file with a charge scheduled for the day the trial ends.Is there a way to skip/terminate the trial period and switch to the paid Pro subscription now, or must I wait until the trial expires automatically? If the only option is to contact Support, what’s the quickest path (info to provide, form link, etc.) to get them to flip the workspace from Trial to Pro?Thanks in advance for any tips!

I’m experiencing an issue with ManyChat’s automated follow-up flow.After editing the message content, the flow no longer sends messages according to the scheduled time and displays a “Time Setting Error.”No time-related settings were modified during this update. The automation was functioning correctly prior to the content changes.Since updating the content, the system consistently triggers a time setting error.Could you please advise which configuration or component might be causing this issue?

Hi everyone,I’m setting up an Instagram comment-to-DM automation in ManyChat and want it to trigger only when someone comments exactly “Thanks”.From what I can see, the IG comment trigger only supports keyword inclusion, not an exact match — meaning it also triggers when there’s additional text before or after “Thanks”.Is there any workaround (filters, regex, conditions, tags, etc.), or is exact-match triggering simply not supported for Instagram comments at the moment?Appreciate any confirmation or best-practice insights!

Hi everyone, quick IG automation question.I’m trying to send weekly follow-up DMs for 4 weeks (non-sales, relationship-based), but I keep hitting the 24h rule. I often receive follow-up messages from other IG accounts, so I know it’s possible — but I can’t get it to work.I don’t see Instagram Marketing Messages in my ManyChat settings, and “Wait until” / Smart Delay doesn’t send messages outside the 24h window.Can anyone clarify what setup actually allows weekly IG follow-ups and whether this requires Marketing Message opt-in or special account access? Since about 1 hour messages via API no longer send with existing parameters. Nothing was changed and suddenly it’s breaking.We are not using message tags and the type is Instagram, not Facebook. Something must be broken here on ManyChat’s side.Please let us know how to fix this asap. Thank you!

Have set up a very basic DM automation for testing purposes and it simply does not seem to be working for me.Is there anything I could try troubleshooting? I’m not sure what might be causing it not to work tbh.  

Hi everyone,I’m having an issue with sending WhatsApp messages via the ManyChat API and I’d appreciate some guidance.Here’s the situation: Incoming WhatsApp messages are received correctly in ManyChat. The message is successfully sent to n8n via an External Request. n8n processes the message correctly and returns a response. The HTTP request to set custom fields in ManyChat works fine (I’ve confirmed the fields are being updated). However, the reply message is not sent back to the user, even when using a fixed text message in the flow (no variables). I’ve tested: sendFlow with a very simple WhatsApp flow A fixed message (no dynamic content) Correct subscriber_id and flow_ns Correct API headers and API key

Hi Team,Our WhatsApp AI integration has been running for months without issue. As of today, ALL!! calls to the /sendContent API are failing for users within the 24-hour window.This is a business-critical issue for us. We have not changed our code or payload structure.The error we receive is: ”Message tags are no longer supported for Facebook Messenger.”.Please confirm if this is a known issue or an unannounced update to the API requirements for WhatsApp.Regards,Alexander

Pessoal, bom dia. Estou enfrentando um problema no qual está fazendo minha operação ficar parada. Não estou conseguindo fazer os disparos em Massa de Whatsapp. Estou usando os mesmo templates que sempre uso até o último dia 06/02/2026, porém, hoje (09/02/2026) o ManyChat informa um erro ao tentar fazer o disparo, segue o print abaixo:  Alguém saberia explicar o motivo e o que eu preciso modificar para conseguir disparar? Não estou conseguindo usar nenhum template
