Hey everyone,1. We would like to create a user profile (new Contact) with custom field values when a user moves from our website to a chatbot. We plan to pass the custom field values through the URL parameters to our chatbot. Is this possible? If so, could you please guide us on how to implement it?2. Each user will have unique values. We want to include them in the URL parameters that the bot shares in the chat. Is this possible?
im setting an automation for whatsapp, the im sending messages with buttons, then.. i expect susbscriber to choose one of the buttons, and after the message ive set a smart delay waiting for the answer. thing is.. after the smart delay started even if the susbscriber chooses one of the buttons the smart delay wont stop and it will continue the flow. Is there a way i can send a message with buttons and set a waiting time for the susbscriber to chose one of the buttons, if not then continue the flow?

It returns a JSON error when formatting the message, and the same occurs when I pass it as Header.Even clicking on JSON Encoder doesn't work.Prints Attachments.Has anyone experienced this error and could tell me how to resolve it?

Hi! I have been using automation to send links to my Instagram and Facebook followers for many months now and love it. In the post I tell them to comment a specific word and if they do then the automation sends them the link to purchase. It has been working perfectly but I have recently come upon a new article from Meta (https://www.facebook.com/business/help/259911614709806) that sounds like they are now saying it is “comment baiting”. Comment baiting: Asking people to comment with specific answers (words, numbers, phrases or emojis). My question is, does this apply to our automated messages and will this change things for this feature moving forward? I’m not really baiting them it’s just an easy way for them to get the link right to their inbox automatically if they want it. I don’t want to use the automation if it’s going to get my account suspended or action taken against me in any way.Thank you!

Hi ManyChat community. I NEED HELP! I am just getting started with ManyChat, but am unable to connect both my IG & FB accounts. I have both personal and business accounts for both, and when I go to connect, only my personal accounts show up, and ManyChats is suggesting I need to switch those into business accounts….but I already HAVE business accounts. The troubleshooting & FAQ page is not helpful. 😕 UPDATE: I FINALLY FIGURED IT OUT!!!!

No Pro options are in use but I am unable to “Go Live,” as it keeps forwarding me to the free trial Pro option, which ultimately charges you in 14 days. And I don’t have any live automation going on,so how do I opt out and go live in the free version?

I'm setting up a workflow where I collect a meeting date. The meeting can be scheduled anywhere from 3 days to a week after the booking time. Regardless of when the appointment is set, I need a reminder to be triggered 12 hours beforehand—but I can’t find where to configure this. I have 2 Pro subscriptions. I think I only need one. I have one for my Facebook Business Page (PsychLife) and one for my Personal Facebook page (Lisa Csernica Rotella). When I use the Facebook Business page (PsychLife account) to connect to Instagram it says the account is already connected to my Lisa Csernica Rotella account. Do I need to cancel the personal account? Please advise.
I'd like to create a chatbot, which - after some free chat - offers a subscription for a flat monthly fee to continue the discussion.As far as I know, you cannot sell digital goods on Messenger directly in the chat, so I have to take the potential client to my landing page and after they made the (Stripe) payment, they should be able to continue with that chat in Messenger. Hey guys, this is my first post! Unfortunately with a problem.I’m setting up an AI step that should do the following:Answer questions based on an FAQ. Ask qualifying questions to schedule a visit. Gather contact information. Escalate issues when needed. Once all information has been gathered, trigger a make automation to fill hubspot forms and deals.So, for some reason, after all the questions have been answered, the fields are being saved into the wrong place: I already tried creating the AI Step again, splitting the steps into FAQ > Intake > Questions + Scheduling and nothing works.To really test this out, I created an AI step with the same Context I’ve been using and only created 1 script action asking for the full name and it didn’t save it properly!My theory is that I put too many instructions inside and the chatbot doesn’t know what to do anymore, so it’s saving different user replies into whatever next field is “available”. Have any of you encountered this issue before?Her
When making an external request, with user data - it can occur that a user has typed in a sentence containing a special character like : or “. Then the external request breaks.In the picture here - you have NO idea what string it is that is “unterminated” After traversing through the data I found that one of the strings (user inputs) contained a : Couldn’t manychat escape the variables when inserting them - or are there other work arounds to avoid this showstopper from happening?
