Hi ManyChat community! 👋I’m trying to collect subscribers to my broadcast list through ads.I’m experiencing an issue where my ManyChat flow is not triggering correctly for users who click on my Facebook Messenger ad. Instead, they receive a generic message that I believe is overriding the intended ManyChat flow.Here’s what I’ve done so far:I’ve set up a Facebook Messenger ad and linked it to my ManyChat flow using a the “Message will be sent to customers when they click on your ads” I’ve checked Facebook’s settings, and there are no active auto-responder rules or automations on my page. ManyChat is connected to my Facebook page, and my Welcome Message and Default Reply in ManyChat are turned off. My flow works perfectly when testing the testing it on preview on facebook.Despite these efforts, users are still receiving a generic Facebook message when they click the ad, and my ManyChat flow isn’t starting as expected. Genereic message “"Hi Oliver fxxxx! I am trying to create a flow on Whatsapp where to allow the user to move forward in the flow, he has to give an ID number or password. I was hoping this could be possible to do by assigning the ID / password to the user (contact) as a custom field, storing the user’s input in a separate field and then using a condition bloc to compare both but it turns out the condition bloc can’t compare fields… Any idea how to make it happen?

Good day people, I need to pause an automation, a pause between 2 actions(send whatsapp message), to wait a contact’s reply before sending second message.To be more specific, 1st message is with 2 buttons, so in case they do not use any, and text instead, so they can receive the second default message as reply. Any idea how I can do it?In general, it is strange that Manychat does not have this pause, in Smart Delay, and instead of choosing time frame, to choose for wait for reply.Many thanks,

Newbie, technology challenged here.   My ManyChat paid Pro will not recognize my business facebook account, only my personal Instagram account. Training on building a bot and this is the first step, so as you can imagine, very frustrating when the fundamental steps as directed don’t work.  Please help.  

Hi guys, I have an integration with manychat API using make.com and in one of my automations, I use make to create a new contact (based on another system) and add the custom fields. Then I use the manychat automation to send messages to the contacts created and some conditions from the custom user fields.  The problem I’m facing now is that I don’t know how to test if the contact created has whatsapp account (when I created a contact using the api I don’t get any error if this contact doesn't have whatsapp enabled). I only know when I try to message this contact and the message is not delivered. Is there a way to test if the contact is ready to get messages so I can create other ways to contact my customers? ThanksDoug 

When I close a chat and then the customer sends a message it doesn't reopen the chat! How to fix this issue? If there's a reason why this is happening so what it could be?

Why was the messages not sent out after a small delay? and they skipped to next smart delay? 

Why does manychat put a pop up to promote their products and I can’t update my sequence.  

Hello to eveyone here! First message here, so i have a question, i want to create a flow where it will present 3 reels in the chat and in the layout like the screenshot but based on dynamic values? Like the user can type fitness, and manychat will reply with 3 of these like the screenshot and will be presented with 3 reels of the fitness or based on location like , the user will search Greece and manychat will present them in the same layout 3 videos that have as location “Greece”. Or like in the second screenshot, instead of the purchase link , it will send them directly to each reel based on the dynamic value used. How can i create something like that? Or are there any materials to study/work with, for this specific case? Because although i have found many help with lots of videos and materials in general, havent found something for the specific case. Thank you all for your time! Looking forward to your reply!

Hola gente!Tienen idea de cómo hacer para cuando se pregunta el Nombre al usuario, aunque este responda Nombre y Apellido, podamos tomar solamente el Nombre?O en todo caso tomar ambos, pero que pueda separarse de alguna forma y tener con precisión solo Nombre en un campo personalizado.Ocurre que al preguntar “Cuál es tu nombre?” o similar varios mencionan Nombre y Apellido, entonces se almacena de esta forma en el campo personalizado. Luego en cualquier conversación no queda bien utilizar este campo personalizado y llamar al usuario por nombre y apellido.

So I have my automation, and in the process the user uses AI, and when the conversation has already ended, the user sometimes inputs another question or so, and I dont know if the AI is triggered or somehting else I already try “default reply” but that solution only makes things worse cause my users have low education(that’s the way my business is), so sometimes they don’t reply pressing the buttons and so on.Also I alredy try to label them and put a contidion block so when the Automation has already started for them, they don’t get any AI messages. So it’s a rough taks

I have about 1.5 million followers online with 658,000 being directly from Instagram.  I installed Manychat about a week ago and Manychat has responded to about 3,500 comments and sent about 3,500 DMs to followers that have commented on my Instagram posts.  I just got banned from commenting on my or any Instagram posts. I’m guessing it may be because of the volume of comments that Manychat responded to or the lack of variety in them as I only had 4 variations set up to respond to comments.  So Manychat is currently not able to reply to the comments on my post but it CAN still send direct messages. Should I stop using Manychat or use it less?  I don’t want to get banned from sending DMs either and currently I’m probably sending about 500  per day.  Can someone please help me and give me best practices here and please give me some guidance on what to do to prevent this from happening again once my commenting has been restored?

Hey Everyone! I’m relatively new to Manychat, but I’ve coded several chatbots from the ground up so I’m not a complete newbie.  That said, I’m trying to deploy a bot with that simply responds to DMs and keeps a conversation going, so there’s no need for any additional triggers after the first incoming message from a user.  I’m using Make for the webhook connection message parsing, and an OpenAI assistant for the chatbot.   My routing setup is attached.The main issue that I’m having is that the chatbot will either send the same response twice, not in a row, but rather after the user responds to the first AI response, OR it will also send the user back their own message after the AI response.  I’ve gotten it really close a few times but it will still do one or the other.I’m not sure if what I’m trying to do is either not possible, or just so simple that I’m overlooking an obvious solution.  Any help is greatly appreciated!ThanksMatt

I just tried using an automation for TikTok, but wanted to verify. It looks like we can’t send active links in the DMs and just have to redirect them to the link in our bio? I was trying to collect emails but I’ve been getting and error with any and all emails sending through my verified domain, which means the only other means of delivering a freebie is through the DM’s, but I can’t connect a link to a Google Doc or my Stan Store. Am I missing anything? Additionally, does ManyChat have any insight to the potential TikTok ban? I’m concerned about spending much time on my TT account if I only have 2 more weeks to use it. Thanks so much!!

Hi, I’m working on a ManyChat automation where users input some data, and at the end, they receive a unique reference number (folio). However, I’ve noticed that when two entries are submitted almost simultaneously (e.g., within one second), the generated reference numbers saved in Google Sheets end up being the same.How could I fix this. I am struggling to get my sequence to send any messages. At first, I set an action in my automation to subscribe the contact to my sequence.When I go into the sequences, I have set up the messages, but it asks for a trigger. So when I set the trigger to “subscribe to sequence”, it basically sends the messages immediately.But I don't get what trigger I am supposed to use in the sequence messages? The delay doesn't seem to be working for me, can you help?
