Ok so I’ve been trying to set this up for days.  I did the automation steps correctly, and tested it on another one of my IG accounts, and when I comment the word, its not following through with the steps! I tried finding solutions on you tube, the manychat site, chatgpt, and I cannot get it to work. Super frustrating.  Please give me all of the tips/advice.  thank you! 

Is anyone else experiencing auto responses being sent in Instagram to contact DMs when the trigger word is not present in the message?

Hi,I'm experiencing an issue with my Instagram automations.I’ve set up a system where, when someone comments a specific keyword on my post, they receive an automatic reply like "Check your DMs" and then get a direct message.However, the automation doesn’t seem to work consistently. Sometimes it replies as expected, but other times it doesn't reply at all — neither in the comments nor in the DMs. It feels random.This inconsistency is causing confusion for my audience and affects the performance of my posts.Could you please help me understand: Why the automation might be failing intermittently? If there are any limits or conditions that could be blocking or delaying the automation? How I can ensure more consistent performance? Thanks in advance for your help! 

How do I send multiple product links for one reel. For example I'm featuring 5 products and I want to send out 5 links at a time when someone comments on this post.

Hey manychat Team, Recently I used the manychat application for the 14 days ago and i used the free trial for the last 14 days, it was good for my Instagram account.And then the free trail session was completed, and i having the 18k contacts from the trail. After that it asked $125 Now I deleted all my contacts, and now also it asks $125 dollar.Can you clear this issue?

Why does uploading vertical videos in ManyChat damage the quality?Manychat support confirmed that it looks pixelated on the mobile Instagram app. However, they also tested it on the desktop version, where it looks fine.This issue occurs only on the Instagram app on mobile devices, and they asked me to create a post in this community to gather votes before they investigate it.I’m sure many of you find this irritating. Just trying to set up the most simplest automation “Auto-DM links from comments” but I keep getting “Looks like there’s no connection” and when i click “try again”, a red error message “instagram channel is not active” comes up. Hello, Just started with ManyChats. I am confused with what a “contact” means. If I have my set audience and followers, and they engage in my content and continue to use various “trigger words” for various automation replies, will each time they “trigger” count as a new contact, or do they get stored as a saved contact that does not affect the 500-1000 free contacts you get with the first subscription tier. I can’t seem to find an answer to this in the FAQ. Thank you, Luci 

I have set up an automation where people wil comment on a post to get a DM, how do I then send a follow up message to these people 5-7 days later to see how they found my resource? 

I’d like to run keyword comment automations on 2 IG posts.Can I use the same keyword for both IG posts? will the corresponding UTM link be sent to commentors? Thanks! 

Hey Manychat community, i’m having trouble stopping messages from sending if someone clicks the link multiple times. So with the links, I thought tagging would work to stop this, but it isn’t, so for example, if someone clicks the first link, they get tagged and then a 2nd message 1 minute later. I’m having issues where someone will clicked the 1st link on 3 separate days, and then they got the same message (message #5) 3 separate times. I’m wondering how i can prevent that as people keep coming back to the first guide i send and clicking it. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated!  

Why can't I rename an Account once created?  I looked around but can’t find any option to do so not even under Manage Accounts.

Hi.  I need help with the referral link automation. I set up the referral link as my IG bio link. The user is supposed to click the link in bio, which will then send them a DM with a link to sign up for the free ebook i am offering as a lead magnet. why is the key word not triggering for all facebook posts, it used to, and i haven't changed anything. it is set up the same, but im having to manually message everyone with the link

Hey guys, I’ve got an issue where I’ve had to create two accounts as can't seem to link the Instagram account at the sane time as the Facebook. When I created my Many Chat account I set up the Insta and got an automation working, but then when I went to link Facebook it asks me to log into Facebook then swaps to a new Many Chat account in which it made me sign up again. Not sure what to do as the Instagram and Facebook are the same brand. Hope that makes sense :-)

Hi, I created a quiz where you get different recommendations based on your response (I used tags to segment this). I am stuck on the final step. At the end of the quiz, I am trying to have certain response generate based on the users selections. I don’t know how to make the conditions flow so that based on your answer, you get the correct response.Is there a way to link (1) Instagram message to multiple conditions at once? and if not, how do I get this condition flow to work properly? I originally had the conditions stacked vertically, but did not see an option to attached the (1) Instagram message of “Okay you’re all dome” to all the the different conditions to generate the results, so I switched to a horizontal method you see below... 

I have a PRO ManyChat account connected to all my Instagram profiles. Each profile has its own ManyChat account, at the tabs on left side of the website. If I create a Reels post using the "collab" feature between my own profiles, will the automation still work—specifically the comment triggers? Do I need to set up the exact same automation on each ManyChat account of each IG? Here’s my strategy: I want all my posts to be collaborative between 2 or 3 of my profiles. So if the main profile publishes the Reels and the automation works there, will the secondary profile (that accepts the collab) also would works (trigger the comment-based automation)?? My idea is making sure the exact same trigger is active on all profiles and nothing goes wrong. Should I accept the collab first, or can I select the post inside ManyChat before accepting the collab? Thanks for your help!
